Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • ½ cup chopped lettuce
  • 4 slices American cheese

Method
 

  1. Divide ground beef into 4 equal balls.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place beef ball on skillet and smash thin using a spatula.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Cook beef for 2–3 minutes per side until crispy edges form.
  6. Remove cooked smashed beef and set aside.
  7. Spread butter on one side of each tortilla.
  8. Place tortilla butter-side down on skillet.
  9. Add shredded cheese, smashed beef, and American cheese slice.
  10. Add lettuce, ketchup, and mayonnaise if desired.
  11. Fold tortilla in half and cook until golden and crispy.
  12. Flip and cook the other side for 1–2 minutes.
  13. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

  • Press quesadilla gently while cooking for extra crispiness.
  • Use sharp cheddar cheese for stronger flavor.
  • Add pickles or onions for a burger-style taste.
  • Serve with salsa or dipping sauce if desired.
